A couple years ago, I shared with you all how our friends were adopting a baby girl from Nepal and had to wait what seemed like forever to go bring her home. But they finally did in February of '08.
I am embarrassed to say we have never met Avery or seen them since then. But that was rectified this past weekend as we met them for dinner.
May I introduce you to Todd, Avery and Lisa - the happy family. (Pardon the poor picture. It was a dark restaurant and I used my Blackberry.)
She is beautiful and so funny and so curious. She turned 3 years old in October and is as busy as any 3 year old could be. They are all so happy and we are so happy for them.
