Out of the mouth of Mothers

I was chatting with my mother last night and she told me to tell David "Hi" and that "she was thinking of his nuts for Christmas".

I sat in silence for a few moments thinking she'd realize what she just said. But no luck.

"Fine Mom, I'll tell him."

For the record, she makes some very good praline covered pecans that he requested for Christmas. I didn't want you to think my mother had turned into my mother-in-law.

At least not yet.
