Can I Share My Good News?

My mother called me this morning crying. At first I was concerned, but then she told me she was leaving the specialist's office in Indianapolis and he had released her. This is the infectious disease doc who diagnosed and has been treating the histoplasmosis since March.

Originally she was supposed to have to take that nasty sporanox for 1 year, but she has improved so much he told her she didn't have to take it anymore and he didn't need to see her anymore.

In her own words "I'm so grateful to be alive."

Thank you all for your kind words, prayers and support. Both Mom and I appreciate it very much.

Yes, I got he same call from Grandma, and my heart stopped a beat and got goose bumps thinking something was wrong at the beginning of the voice mail.
Than, she said she is 100% off the meds and she no longer would need to go and see that doctor.
I was so thankful to hear that news
