Daunting, overwhelming and somewhat frustrating.
My husband does not like coleslaw of any form and neither of us like cooked cabbage in any form.
My favorite slaw is freezer slaw like my mom used to make. Simple recipe, but I love the tartness and the crunch when it is just slightly frozen.
So I made this:

Nine containers to freeze, plus one for dinner. I also kept some coleslaw mixture aside and mixed it with blue cheese dressing. My husband may hate coleslaw, but he loves blue cheese. I figured it was worth a shot.
He tried it. Ate a couple bites. Said it wasn't bad, but he would never request it.
Oh well, he tried it.
I feel like I really accomplished something by putting away all this slaw. The sad thing? I'll get more cabbage next week.
