Ponies

Do you remember reading a book in elementary school about a pony on the Outer Bank islands? I have a vague memory, but can't dig out a name from my dusty mind. Oh the pains of getting old. I was reading an article about Outer Banks rentals and realized they still have ponies on the islands. I thought that was something long gone. That is kind of cool. I need to research how they got there. Wikipedia! here I come.
