Breakfast For Dinner

I love having breakfast food at other times of the day. We never eat more than a bowl of cereal or yogurt during the week so just two days on the weekend isn't enough time to get my fill of breakfast foods. Saturday night I made something new that I saw Bobby Flay make on his new Brunch show. Waffle French Toast! Soak thick slices of bread (I used sourdough) in your french toast mixture, then place in your waffle iron. It is the perfect combination of crisp waffle, thick french toast, and heartier than a pancake. We loved it. Of course, combined with bacon - who wouldn't?
