Down the DNA Trail

Some of you may remember that we did a DNA test on Cady when we first adopted her. The results took forever to arrive after many emails and many excuses. When they did arrive, they were bogus. Miniature Pinscher and Chinese Shar Pei? Come on.

Our vet told us recently that another company, Wisdom Panel, does a blood DNA test vs. the cheek swab we did before, and she really likes the results she has been getting, even for her own dogs.

So we ordered two tests - one for Cady and one for Oscar. So far, the customer service has been stellar and far superior to the other organization. We are supposed to have the results available in a couple weeks. We can't wait.
