My Bear Bear

Sometimes I worry that with all the fosters we have coming in and out and the energy of the younger dogs, that we don't give Bear the attention and love that he deserves. He is the most easy going dog ever and the farthest thing from needy possible. If you could clone any dog's temperament, he would be perfect. Healthwise? A genetic nightmare. Between the seizures, the seizure medicine, the side effects of the medicine, i.e. increased thirst and hunger, liver damage, etc., bad hips and bumps - lots of bumps - he keeps the vet busy. But we love Bear. He is 12 years old and runs around the dog park like a puppy. However, I have noticed lately that he needs to lose belly fat a little, just a little. But then don't we all.
