He is an 11 year old American Eskimo whose mommy went into the hospital and didn't come back. He is as sweet as can be, even though he can't hear a thing. Our hearts melted when we heard about Casper. He looks just like our Shelby and the thought of her being abandoned made us sad.
So we're taking Casper home. He'll be a foster in the technical sense, but we are fully aware that he probably won't get adopted and we'll have him until the end. That is okay. He deserves somewhere to live out his life in a loving and safe environment. We all do.
