What's In Your Purse?

We've all been to the wedding showers where we played the "what's in your purse" game. The host lists off unusual items and the guest who can produce the most items from the list from her purse wins. My mother always wins this game.

I now know why.

We were at my nephew's graduation party Saturday. They held it at a campground where they were all camping. We sat around talking about everything and nothing, laughing about past and current funny stories, drinking good wine and eating way too much. It was a great time.

However, we had one bottle of wine still half full and we were all done since some of us had to drive home. I asked Mom if she had one of those bottle stoppers in her camper. She reached into her jeans pocket and produced one.

Does this mean she is organized or a wino? Or maybe an organized wino?

Whichever...we now have a new funny story to laugh about at future gatherings. And I'm so glad we have Mom to share it with.
