At work we have a "secret pal" group. For those of you who live under a rock and don't know what that is, let me explain.
Someone not participating takes all the names of who are and assigns each employee a "secret pal". This person gives gifts and cards throughout the year anonymously. At the end of the year, there is a "reveal" where you find out who has been slipping gifts on your desk all year long without you being the wiser.
I have to confess. I have the best secret pal ever. I really have no idea who this person is, but they know me. And I mean "know" me. I have gotten some great things over the past four months, but today...my "derby" package rocked.
Besides a derby glass and fleur di lis (Louisville logo) spreader, a bamboo cutting board, and olive oil/green tea soap - I got a "Brunch" cookbook.
I have a sneaky suspicion my secret pal reads my blog. What do you think?
