I have set out the Blog Party fun over at Dispensing Happiness of late. No particular reason other than the usual - time.
However, I could not set this one out. It is my favorite food - brunch!
For my contribution, I made Mini Monte Cristos. Using soft baguette slices, I put some dijon on one piece and raspberry jam on the other. Then completed it with some good honey ham and baby swiss.

After a quick dip into an egg and milk bath, I fried them up on my new griddle.

I was very pleased with the final result. These would make great appetizers at a cocktail party (and will soon).
Complimenting my morning snack is my version of a bloody mary (I don't like tomato juice) - I call it a Morning Martini. Made with blood orange juice, limoncello, fresh lemon juice and some simple syrup - these go down way too easy.
