What would we do without friends?

I have so many friends to be thankful for and for varying reasons.

A long time friend stepped up, pulled some strings, and helped me find my mother quality medical care. The relief I feel knowing she is at a facility that cares for her and treated by a doctor that has the good sense to look at the entire picture and find a resolution is immeasurable. I am almost giddy. I can't thank her enough.

Many other friends have been supportive in their prayers and comforting words. I thank each one of those.

And then there's Jen - she too offered her support from afar. But she also sent me goodies!

I received a box containing a brand new set of sugar and butter molds. There is like a dozen different shapes for me to play with. Some of you may not get excited by this...but I do. I only wish we lived closer so I could have her over for dinner to experience the creations.
