In The Weeds

That is how I describe my life right now. I just can't seem to get ahead, hence no post in almost a week. Due to time, here is a bullet list of recent and future activities that are sucking away my attention:

  • the local judicial system stole my husband for 2 1/2 weeks and quite literally for 48 hours when I knew not of his whereabouts
  • work is crazy busy - like every organization in America right now, our financial status is forefront and leadership is scrambling to find a solution, keeping me (internal communications) very busy
  • my mother has been sick and is at this very moment, in the hospital
  • stuck here and there is a social event that quite frankly if I didn't have, I would go nuts
  • tonight is the traveling cocktail party in our neighborhood
  • this afternoon we have tickets to Actors Theatre
  • yesterday I was awake from 3am to 10pm
