Too little too late

When I was finishing my degree, I was aghast at the cost of a textbooks. I know I sound like my parents or grandparents when I say – “in my day…”. But ouch.

It never occurred to me to buy them anywhere but the school bookstore. I see the error of my ways now.

I wonder if I can sell them somewhere now. They aren’t all that old – apparently unlike myself.

I know!!! I feel sick when I think about how much money was wasted on the books. Although back then, there was no Amazon, not to mention no internet as we know it today. I guess you could search Amazon for the books you do have and see if they are in use. My guess is, probably not. I remember several times buying a brand new book at the beginning of a semester only to find out at the end that it was discontinued and could only be bought back for like $3.
