Sistah-Hood

Conversation between my assistant and I yesterday. She is a 70 year old mother hen type.

Her: "Do you feel okay? You look pale."

Me: "I am fine."

Her: "You look really pale. Look at your hands, they are so pale. Are you always this pale?"

Me: "You do remember that I am a white woman, right?"

Her: "Oh I forgot, I thought you were a sistah."

What a great compliment.
