About 28 co-workers began a Biggest Loser contest in April. I didn’t hear about it until sometime in June or I might have joined. More than half dropped out prior to the final weigh-in at the end of July, but for those that stayed, they lost 139 pounds in total. That is really good for 3 months.
Biggest Loser II starts on Friday and goes for 16 weeks this time. Over 40 people have joined including yours truly. The prize pool has a grand prize of $500 which is a great incentive, but not my only one. Let’s see how excited the doctor gets with more than a 7 lb weight loss come my October visit.
No special diets, no diet pills, and certainly no starvation.
Just simple, healthy choices – which unfortunately means no more homemade ice cream. Sorry folks.
I did get the volumetric books in about Water for Food and they are interesting. But it really is logical stuff – fruits and vegetables contain more water and therefore are better for you. Fats are denser and are not good for you. There, I saved you $29.95.
