I wish we could buy memory for our brains.

I know I am not the only one who forgets things, but I can see an obvious change in my ability to remember the simplest things from 10 years ago.

Details about events are foggy, even events just a few years ago.

I used to say that our brains are like a computer and when it gets full, it begins to dump at random. I wish I could select what it chooses to dump.

But unlike a computer where you can just go purchase more computer memory, we limp along with what we have.

My husband is the opposite. He can tell you down to the month that a certain song was released in 1979, but cannot for the life of him, remember my birthday or what we did a week ago. I told him he needed to take Ginko Biloba for his memory but he says he will forget to take it :)
