Last year I started a tradition of writing my first Christmas Newsletter. I sweated over it for weeks because I didn't want it to be one of those we always got as kids where people were just bragging about how Junior made the honor roll and Molly is head cheerleader, again. I was very happy with how it come out and received lots of good feedback.
The dilemma this year is I can't think of much to say so do I skip it and break a new tradition or ramble on with what I know will not be as interesting to others as it is to me?
I feel kind of like a scrooge this year as I am seriously considering not putting up a tree, again. Last year I opted out because we weren't having any events at our house and didn't want to hassle with it. I still set out some decorations, just not the tree. Well after being snowed in for a week over Christmas it might have been nice to have something cheery in the room, or at the very least, something to do.
This year, still no events, but I'm thinking no tree again. The big dilemma last year was "where do we put the gifts?"
