I was watching some sitcom reruns today and some teenagers were going to their junior prom. The dresses were all ruffly and "gone with the wind"-like. It reminded me of my own prom and the dress of the day.
Mine was a silky, floor length, dark mauve color with split open long sleeves showing bare arms.
