Did You Know?

Below are the answers to our little quiz:

1. What is the definition of thule?

A place often referred to as beyond the borders of the world. Hmmmm...I immediately thought of those thule racks on top of vehicles. Wonder why they named them that?

2. Which President of the United States had the shortest tenure in office?

William Henry Harrison. He died on his 32nd day in office. He took the oath of office on March 4, 1841, a cold and wet day. He wore neither an overcoat nor hat, and delivered the longest inaugural address in American history. It took him nearly two hours to read. Of course spending that much time in the wet, cold air gave him pneumonia. Perfect example of more ego than brains.

3. Who was the original voice of Bugs Bunny?

Mel Blanc. Sorry, I have nothing else to add.

4. What is clinophobia?

Fear of beds. Many things are going through my head, but I'll not share them.

5. What is the only insect that can turn its head?

Preying Mantis. I hate these bugs with a passion. Nothing will make me squeal like a little girl faster than these creepy, bug eyed, well, bugs. They are like miniature aliens.

Did you have fun? Did anyone know them without having to look them up?
