She's Back!

We brought Paisley home tonight. After two weeks at her new home, there was some problems with how she interacted with their 4 year old little boy that was escalating instead of diminishing.

When we arrived to pick her up, she leaped for joy and kissed all over us. And then went and stood by the door as if to say "Let's hit the road."

I felt bad for the family as it was a difficult decision for them; the mom was crying.

Paisley is a great girl. But she needs a home with other dogs as she gets bored and we all know what bored dogs can do. They had her crate in a bedroom by herself with no view of outside. She destroyed it. They actually had to padlock it to keep her from getting out. We never had that problem here.

It will be interesting to see how she does here in the crate now. The other dogs were thrilled to see her and she has been planted on David's lap since we've been home.

I think you'll just have to keep her yourself :)

Oh no...she is a sweetheart but much more energetic than our others and she serves as a catalysts for increased energy in the whole house. Those two weeks were amazingly quiet.

She'll find a good home. We've put her in the obedience class to help speed that up.
