The Best Part of Thanksgiving

Visiting with family is fine, gathering to offer thanks..yeah yeah yeah. Let's face it - the best part is the food and the best part of the food is always dessert.

My dessert for Thanksgiving this year was my best yet. Toasted Pecan and Salted Caramel Cheesecake. Oh. My. God.

My love for salted caramel started with David Lebovitz's ice cream earlier this year so when I found a recipe for cheesecake - my speciality - well...need I say more.

This is the salted caramel sauce. I would like to put a straw in this and die a peaceful death.

It tasted as good as it looked.
