Stylin'

When we were first married and had just built our house, we had no office furniture. We used 6ft banquet tables as desks for at least 2 years.

Other than the looks, the only problem was height, ergonomics, etc. Space-wise, they were fine.

When we finally decided to purchase actual office furniture, we were very disappointed with the options. Very homogeneous, very boring stuff out there.

We eventually found a set that was better than most without requiring a second mortgage. For the office room at that house, it was great. When we moved here, there was too much for the room. So we have had to parse out some of the lower cabinets as bedside tables in the spare room.

I say all that to ask why office furniture with any personality usually costs and arm and a leg? Is it that much harder to make?

I have questions...I need answers.
