Restrictions

Our neighborhood association prohibits storage sheds for lawn equipment, etc. in your backyard due to some “eye sore” clause. I appreciate that this same clause keeps people from parking 50 year campers and piles of lumber in their yard like we had at the previous address.

However, who says a very nicely built and painted to match the house storage shed looks any worse than a child’s play house or some of the old swing sets in our neighborhood?

I agree. I like having a HOA but they don't always make sense. We can only put a rode iron fence because of our lot. No one has one and normally people put up what they want than everyone complains about it. A Rod iron fence is very costly and I don't live in a 300K home addition. I think mental or wood would be fine...
Sorry, for going on and on.
