Oscar went to the first stop in his forever home on Friday. He will be at the trainer's home for 2-3 weeks before going to live with the special needs child. We know he will be a great dog for them.
However, Cady has been mourning his absence. She was whining for the first hour after he left. But that quickly passed when the new foster, Clara, arrived.
Clara is a full bred Schnauzer, about three years old. She had been running the streets because her family didn't care enough to take care of her.
She had some benign growths on her back that had to be removed so she currently has staples in, plus she had to get a very close haircut to allow for that and remove the matting.
Clara is a very sweet girl. And though she hasn't' felt great the first couple of days due to the surgery, she and Cady have been playing.
I have a feeling we won't have Clara very long.
