Over the past eight weeks we have been going to school one to two nights a week since Shelby and Bear's classes overlapped. We are beat, not to mention the dogs.
Bear graduated last week and Shelby's class ended tonight.
I can't say Shelby graduated. The final test of her second series class is the Canine Good Citizen test with 10 different elements. She did 7 of the 10 just fine, but the ones involving somebody other than mommy or daddy touching her, not so much.
In a way I feel a little proud. My little girl knows the definition of "good touch" and "bad touch". No sicko pervert is gonna grab her.

Hey!
I miss our little group, but just stopped enjoying blogging myself.
I hope you are doing well.
Can she also "Stop, drop, and roll?"
Just wondering.
cory: good to hear from you, don't be a stranger
gnightgirl: she sits, goes down, stays (most of the time) when you walk away, did fine with the crowd exercise, the loud noise exercise, walking and stopping when told to, and the come when called.
The ones where she had to touch her feet and ears, pet her and use a groomer's brush - not so much.
She had done it in classes before, but she was really anxious and the trainer would only let one of us in the room with her and Shelby needs all her "people" in their proper place.
Are you on facebook? Let me know so we can stay in touch.
cory: yes, Melody Smith
