Soul Mate Addendum

I was telling my husband about these folks and commented how it is hard to argue with that kind of connection.

His response?

"But they didn't have the same PIN number."

He is right. We had been married for about two years and still had our own separate checking accounts (still do). We were shopping or as he refers to it "ratting" around town and I needed some cash. So we drove through an ATM at a bank branch and I gave him my debit card.

He then asked for my PIN number and I told him the number.

He said, "no, yours not mine".

I reminded him that I had no clue what his PIN number was and that we didn't even use the same bank, not even in the same state at the time.

I was issued my PIN number approximately 7 years prior and he has had his since he first got a checking account about 15 years prior. Neither one of us selected the numbers, they were computer generated.

I guess I have found my soul mate.

Or everyone has the same PIN number and we just all think we have a unique number.
