I purchased:
- stainless steel colander - because I needed it
- orange salad tongs - because I wanted it
- bag clips - in our house, these twix-it clips go wherever that other sock goes
- bath rug - $2.99 bath rug!!
- metal strips to hang magnetic back containers (I already had the containers)
- hanger with storage bins - these are pretty cool and will work great in my project room
- wood and glass canister set for my island
I actually saw this on expat's blog and loved it then. So when I found it there, it was a no-brainer.
Next stop - Trader Joe's. I have to tell you now - I was very disappointed.

Didn't I tell you I didn't know what you were going to buy at TJ's because you are a real cook. TJ's is for lazy cooks.
Well, at least you know now. Hopefully you at least picked up some eggs. I only buy eggs from there because the price is good.
Now I can say I've been there. If they built one locally, I might visit like I do The Fresh Market or Whole Foods.
