Shelby graduated from the first level of obedience training Monday night.
Here she is with her certificate.
She has done so well. We are so pleased with how she has come out of her shell. She'll never be a friend to strangers, but she'll be less fearful of them. It has never been an issue of her hurting them - because she has to touch you to bite you and touching you is the last thing on her mind.
The graduation was held at the instructor's home where she also does agility training. So she encouraged us to work with our dogs on the equipment. Shelby was a pro. She was all like "come on people - give me a real challenge".
This is her working on the hurdles. The point isn't height but not avoiding them to get to us. I think she got the point.
