Bull's Blood

I forgot to mention in the food report section of my trip the unique ingredient listed on a special at Underwood's.

I was about to order the special which was described as a molasses glazed pork chop with peach chutney, asiago potatoes and salad with bull's blood dressing.

None of my dining partners knew what it was - other than the obvious. I didn't want to look like an idiot hick by asking because if she had said it was the obvious - I am afraid my facial expression would have deceived me.

Thanks to Google, I can breathe a sigh of relief and a twinge of regret for not having ordered it.
