I got fortunate today and was upgraded to 1st class on both long parts of my journey. I am not complaining. 2 1/2 hours is a long time to sit in a three pack.
I enjoyed the warm towels, warmed nuts, and dinner on a real plate with a real fork.
However, something bothered me.
The flight attendants were extremely nice.
Nicer than they ever are in coach.
I get that you pay for extras, leg room and those nice wide seats, but you shouldn't have to pay for kindness.
