Bad Day?

Daniel Powter may have said it best.

We absolutely love our hot tub. I've said it before. However, for my husband it has become a love/hate relationship.

Every time some little variable changes, all his hard work at chemistry goes to hell in a handbasket. We have been told it is more difficult to keep the pH levels balanced in a hot tub than an entire swimming pool. It is a combination of the heat and small amount of water I guess.

For Christmas we bought ourselves a new hot tub cover because the old one was in rough shape and wasn't keeping the heat contained. It was an investment in our electric savings as well as to help with the pH mess.

We also had some new piping put under the house that leads to the outside water faucet.

Two variables that apparently sent it all to hell. You see we added some more water as you have to do periodically but with new copper piping, it added minerals to the water and well...hell...handbasket...you get the picture.

He is so tired of little shit going awry since we moved. The basement has been a fiasco and the laundry list of other problems is growing. They aren't big things, but after awhile you just want to scream "F*CK IT".

Well he basically did today. This is what I found him doing.

My poor sweetie. Send him some good karma if you have any to spare.

I could be his BFF. I love champagne! Never thought to drink it from a straw though.

I don't know much about hot tubs, but I do know that my parents completely drain theirs. I can't remember if it is every 6 weeks or something like that? It seemed like a lot whatever it was.
Then again, I'm still trying to understand why people who live in FL even need a hot tub.

Champagne, cheaper the better, is his favorite drink. He doesn't drink beer at all. Fuzzy Navels would be second on his list.

I on the other hand, love tequila. We are odd.
