Help!

I decided today to have a birthday party for my husband the first part of December. In a matter of minutes I went from a simple gathering to making this harder than it should be. Truly typical for me.

I am going to do my best to make the food part very simple so that I can also enjoy the evening with 15 of our closest friends. I'll let you know how that goes.

Anyway, what I have decided to do is make the invitations actually be music CDs where I will design the jewel covers and CD labels as the invitation with the music being a teaser of the party tone and a bit of a tribute to my hubby. Nice thought, but now I realize how monumental that task is. The designing is easy - which songs do I use?

Now I know that most of you don't personally know my husband, though I talk about him enough you probably have some image of what he is about - but if you had to pick a song(s) that makes you think of your significant other - what would it be?

I am going for more fun, silly songs. One I have already thought of is also my ringtone for him - Go Go Gozilla by Blue Oyster Cult. David is a sci-fi nut.

Help me please.

You are right, that is a cute song. But since this is also acting as an invitation - I don't want folks to think we are swingers :-))) Just the thought of that is hilarious.

oooh, what a brilliant idea!!

my husband is into movies, and sports and 80's music.

so for him i would do the themes from star wars and james bond, the espn theme and 'meet the mets' and huey lewis and the news and U2 for starters.

when you get the cd done, send me a copy!!
