Now It All Makes Sense
Remember me telling you all how god awful sick I was at Christmastime?
I was poisoned by peanut butter. Seriously.
I made cookies the day before with peanut butter and ate some straight from the jar (busted). Then after not feeling well for 36 hours (chills, fever, confusion), before the uncontrollable vomiting started, I ate peanut butter and celery - just throwing fuel on the fire.
I have been advised by health officials to hold on to my jar as it might be needed for testing, but don't eat anymore - did they really need to tell me that?

OMG! I can't believe you are one of the people! I always buy Peter Pan because they have a sugar free kind. I'm going to rethink that.
At least it all makes sense now. I thought you probably had that norovirus that swept the country. Good thing you still had the jar.
I just checked my jar. It has the 2111 numbers on the lid. I pitched it into the trash, minus the lid which I will be sending in for reimbursement. It was almost gone though and I was never sick. But not taking any chances.
Is it worth the postage and hassle for $2.00?
Wonder if that was what happened to Christine at Christmas? Wasn't she sick too?
Oh yes. You are right. I'm sure it isn't worth it to mail in the lid. I just felt they should pay somehow for this. Then I heard there were already lawsuits filed, so they will pay.
I think Christine did have the real norovirus and not the peanut butter poisoning.
