I realized there were several events, topics, etc. that I have failed to blog about over the past few months. I guess because I've been so absent from the blog world itself...sorry.
So I am going to try and catch up.
First, let's talk about An Evening In Italy. Considering the rescheduling, crappy weather, and last minute guest cancellations due to their crisis' - it was a blast. Lots of friends, food, laughing... you know - the usual.
Here are some photos of the event. Keep in mind, we had to move it indoors at the last minute - hence the patio chairs in the living room - how gauche!
This was the initial antipasto spread. Meats, cheeses, olives, grapes, tapenade, bread, etc.
This was our portable bar. Beer, wine, soda, water anyone?
Next came the stuffed shells, chicken tetrazzini, bruschetta salad...god I have to stop I am starving.
I still can't help but laugh when I see patio furniture and leather side by side.
I didn't take photos after people arrived. I always plan to but I get involved in conversations and making sure everyone has a drink, that I forget all about it.
I did read a quote today that made me think of this party.
It is so me. Cheers chicks!
