I sincerely hope and believe this will be the last in a long list of procedures. One can only swallow so many garden hoses.
What have we discovered in this journey?
- There is always one nurse who is in the wrong profession. The rest are angels, but Nurse Ratchet is a bitch on steroids.
- I am much less modest than I was this time last year.
- I prefer smaller hospitals - much more personal.
- I really like Vicadin.
- My puppies miss me when I am gone - actually I already knew this, but it was always just the little one who suffered. These past few visits and travels, the bigger one has been dumping my clothes basket and making a bed in my dirty clothes. So sweet...and stinky.
- I finally have a diagnosis. I have something that only 2% of the population has. I always knew I was rare :-))
- That I have great friends, both virtual and local.

my wife was a sedation nurse for an edo doctor. she is the angel one you discribed. she was really good. she still does it part time. she is now back to NICU (sick/preemi/drug babies. she is a good nurse. i had that ERCP and it was sucky. i had my gall bladder the next day! and yes vicodin are wonderful!
This virtual friend will be thinking of you. Take a Vicodin for me.
Thank you all for your good thoughts. It must have worked. I came home the same day which was not what they or we expected since I didn't last time.
Horrible procedure, but it's over with.
