It sure felt like we were walking on the sun today. It was hot - seriously hot.
The walk itself wasn't bad. Five miles up and down hills with a little flat land - but it was all in the sun.
And to make matters worse - they ran out of water before the first checkpoint. Seriously poor planning.
But we trudged onward, at times I don't know how I continued, but we did it. I am very red. I had planned for umbrellas, not sun screen.
Thomas earned over a $1,000 of donations and that will get him several things, but what he wanted most and achieved, was a plaque to match the ones of previous years. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.
Oh, my car "broke" again today. That is the third time in two weeks. Same problem - overheating, losing coolant. Have I mentioned it is one year old? I am not happy with General Motors, Pontiac, or Sam Swope today.
Those of you who are local may hear of an altercation on Monday where the authorities were called over to Hurstbourne Lane because of an irate customer. I've had it.
Going back to my margarita now.

That's great about the donations!! Sorry to hear about the heat and lack of water. I don't even know how you managed.
That sucks about your car. Back up my opinion that the one thing you should not buy American, is a car. Is it even a year old yet?
